Sarina Russo's 20 Rules of Leadership - Rule 9

To live the role of leader, to be seen to be the leader, I follow a set of 20 rules that govern my attitude and my behaviour. I'm delighted to share today my ninth rule of leadership:

Don’t fight change - use it.

It’s important that you understand that business changes, that the needs of people, the consumers, vary and people want more or want to be inspired and stimulated by your environment.

See change as an opportunity for your business to do more for your customers in order to get more from your customers.

You’ve got to be able to embrace change rather than regard it with fear and trepidation.

You’ve got to embrace it with passion and excitement and take your team along and make it a window of opportunity of whatever it is that you need to be challenged with.
